Qiyuan Robot Connects to Tencent Cloud WorkBuddy AI, Making Its First Step from the Screen into the Physical World

On September 20, the consumer-level embodied intelligence brand "Qiyuan Robotics" announced a collaboration with Tencent Cloud. The Q1 and T1 robots from Qiyuan have been officially integrated into WorkBuddy, becoming the first embodied intelligence company to connect with WorkBuddy. This marks the first time that WorkBuddy has achieved "embodiment" — transforming from an AI assistant on the screen into a physical entity with ears, eyes, hands, and feet.

Their division of labor is clear and definite: WorkBuddy acts as the "brain," responsible for understanding, reasoning, and scheduling thousands of ecological Skills in the cloud; Qiyuan Robotics acts as the "body," responsible for interaction and execution, with hundreds of embodied intelligence atomic capabilities already accumulated.

In office scenarios, WorkBuddy can dispatch the robot to a workstation to physically remind employees to attend a meeting and lead them to the corresponding conference room. Before the meeting ends, the robot can also raise its hand and use voice broadcasting.

In home scenarios, users can remotely issue commands to the robot through WorkBuddy, such as "Tell a dinosaur story to the baby," and the robot will complete the interaction with gestures and expressions.

To ensure safety, both parties have established four layers of defense: connection permission control, action whitelist verification, simulation preview, and on-site secondary confirmation, ensuring that each physical action is safe and controllable.

With the official launch of the WorkBuddy open platform, the participation of more developers and hardware manufacturers in the future will accelerate the integration of embodied intelligence into workplaces and daily life.
