Artificial intelligence company Anthropic announced a major integration of its product line, officially merging Claude Chat with the Cowork feature to launch a unified version of the Claude app. This update breaks the previous limitations where different functions had clearly distinct entry points, allowing users to now call various core capabilities such as chat, Cowork, and Design within the same conversation window based on their actual task needs. At the same time, Anthropic has deeply integrated Claude Design into the chat interface and upgraded the underlying memory mechanism, enabling users to independently choose different work modes, with existing content from before remaining unaffected.
At the same time as integrating the app's entry points, Anthropic officially launched two new features in Beta testing: Claude Docs and Claude Slides. Docs provides a real-time collaboration experience similar to Google Docs, supporting online content creation, editing, and collaborative sharing, as well as allowing users to set periodic tasks for automatic execution; Slides supports creation, editing, and collaborative sharing, and can be directly exported to PowerPoint or PDF format, meeting diverse presentation needs in office scenarios.
In terms of the release and coverage rhythm of the features, Anthropic adopted a phased approach. These newly upgraded features will first be rolled out to Pro and Max plan users, and then gradually extended to Team and Free plan users. In addition, for enterprise users, enterprise administrators can independently decide when to enable the Beta versions of Claude Docs and Claude Slides, ensuring data security and management rhythm within the enterprise.
