Crusoe, a data center developer, has completed a new round of financing worth $3 billion, with a valuation reaching $30 billion. According to Bloomberg, this round was led by Atreides Management and Valor Equity Partners, with participation from Mubadala Capital, the asset management subsidiary of Abu Dhabi's sovereign wealth fund Mubadala. Crusoe's clients include tech companies such as Meta, Microsoft, and OpenAI.

During this financing, Crusoe also signed a $1.3 billion, five-year cloud service contract, providing GPU and AI infrastructure to the quantitative trading company Jane Street. This financing comes just 10 months after the company completed a $1.38 billion funding round in October 2025 with a valuation of $10 billion, achieving significant growth in valuation.

Crusoe was founded in 2018, initially using energy generated from burning natural gas for cryptocurrency mining. It then gradually transitioned into an AI infrastructure and cloud services provider, developing large-scale data center campuses for clients such as Oracle and OpenAI. With the continuous increase in computing power demand for AI model training and inference, data centers and GPU infrastructure have become key areas for capital investment.

Additionally, Axios reported last month that Crusoe has recently met with investment bankers from Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley to discuss the possibility of going public soon.
