Recently, well-known industry figure Luo Yonghao publicly criticized the AI large model experience of new energy vehicle manufacturers, stating that their performance was "too bad."
After testing dozens of models, Luo Yonghao found that none of the car manufacturers had integrated domestic top-tier complete version large models such as DouBan, Qianwen, and Kimi. He pointed out that expertise lies in specialization, and the overall experience of the AI large models developed by car companies is currently poor. He publicly called on car manufacturers to actively introduce high-quality large models to optimize consumers' actual usage experience, and even if they need to charge extra, it could be understood.
In addition to targeting the intelligent experience of new energy vehicle manufacturers, Luo Yonghao also recently openly criticized the pain points of the traditional television industry. He stated that if the entire industry still cannot provide aging-friendly products that truly meet the requirement of "turning on the TV immediately," his software team would personally develop matching solutions, directly cooperate with domestic traditional manufacturing enterprises to launch private label products, thereby changing industry practices. In response to some views that television prices are low and therefore must rely on complex advertisements for revenue, he countered that the elderly's complaints are not about the ads themselves, but about the complicated interactions they cannot use.
Luo Yonghao's sharp comments on the AI experience of new energy vehicles and the pain points of the home appliance industry once again brought the "user experience" and "industry practices" of smart hardware into the spotlight. Whether car manufacturers should open up their in-vehicle large model strategies to third-party top-tier large models, and whether traditional home appliances can truly return to the simple and convenient "turn on and watch" experience, remains to be tested by the market.
