The spokesperson of Alibaba has officially confirmed that the self-developed large model "Qwen" by Alibaba has been integrated and will be fully incorporated into the "Apple Intelligence" (Apple Smart) feature on Apple devices in China.
This integration covers four operating systems: iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS. This means that Chinese Apple users will be able to directly access the powerful capabilities of Qwen at the system level in the near future, enabling a variety of intelligent operations including deep understanding of text and images, as well as high-quality generation of text and images, thus completely eliminating the cumbersome experience of frequently switching between different apps.

Previously, the filing information released by the Cyberspace Administration of China had already revealed related arrangements. The "Apple Intelligence" large model of Apple Technology Development (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. has successfully passed the filing and is clearly intended for use in Apple phones. In addition to Alibaba, Baidu is also listed among Apple's domestic partner list, mainly responsible for developing AI-based search functions and smart upgrades for the Chinese version of Siri.
With the official integration of Qwen into the Apple ecosystem, Apple's AI product lineup in China is becoming increasingly clear. By deeply collaborating with leading domestic large model manufacturers, Apple is committed to providing Chinese users with a more localized and smoother intelligent experience. This move not only simplifies the user's operation path but also marks the accelerated entry of top domestic AI technology into the world's leading consumer electronics ecosystem.
