Edge-side artificial intelligence is experiencing dual breakthroughs in performance and capacity. On September 1st, the wholly-owned subsidiary of iFLYTEK, Ciyuan Xinghuo, officially announced the release and open-source of two new edge-side general large models, namely Xinghuo X2.5-4B and Xinghuo X2.5-1.7B.

In terms of core technical configurations, these two latest open-source edge-side models have broken through the common bottlenecks of previous hardware computing power, and are natively supported with an ultra-large context window of up to 1 million tokens. The implementation of this technical feature means that smaller edge-side devices will also have the hard power to handle extremely long texts, massive data, and complex long-term tasks, providing a stronger underlying support for the deep popularization and offline applications of large models on intelligent terminals.
