During the WRC2026 World Robot Conference, JD.com served as a global strategic partner of the event and announced its strategic layout in the robotics industry, aiming to promote the large-scale development of the robotics industry from three aspects: supply chain, service system, and technology platform.

In terms of the supply chain, JD.com announced that it will invest 10 billion yuan in the robotics field by 2028, helping 100 robot brands achieve independent sales exceeding 1 billion yuan. Currently, JD.com has collaborated with more than 200 robot brands and numerous core component enterprises through its self-operated model, covering consumer and household service scenarios, and has expanded into multiple industry fields such as retail, health, industry, and logistics. Meanwhile, JD Europe Joybuy has established cooperation with more than 50 Chinese robot brands, promoting Chinese robot products into overseas markets.

In terms of service system construction, JD.com plans to build a global after-sales service network for robots covering over 100 countries within the next five years, cultivating more than 100,000 robot after-sales service engineers and creating new job opportunities. At the same time, the company will establish 80 RoboBase robot bases, building a full lifecycle service platform covering robot sales, operation, maintenance, and upgrades.

In terms of technology layout, JD.com's JoyInside embodied intelligence platform is expected to connect more than 10 million terminal devices within the year, including robot products. JD Cloud plans to collect more than 10 million hours of real-world scenario data over the next two years, providing data support for robot intelligent training, application optimization, and large-scale deployment.

As embodied intelligence and the robotics industry enter a phase of rapid development, JD.com is accelerating the construction of a comprehensive robotics ecosystem covering production, consumption, and application scenarios through supply chain integration, service infrastructure construction, and data capability accumulation.
