Xiaomi held a new product launch event for the Xiaomi 17T series phones today afternoon. During the event, Xiaomi's humanoid robot made a stunning debut, demonstrating its ability to autonomously grasp the Xiaomi 17T Pro phone and control the volume key for zoom photography, successfully showcasing its refined flexible operation capabilities on electronic devices.

This breakthrough is attributed to Xiaomi's continuous iteration of its robot hardware architecture. Since the research and development started in 2017, Xiaomi has successively released the "Tie Dan" and "Tie Da" robots, and established a robot company in 2023. In March this year, the robot achieved 3 hours of continuous operation in an automobile factory, with a successful dual-side installation rate of 90.2%. To enhance dexterity, the official conducted a deep renovation of the Xiaomi CyberOne bionic hand at the end of March: the volume was reduced by 60%, the degrees of freedom were increased by 64%, the coverage area of the full-hand tactile sensor was increased to 8,200 square millimeters, and a bionic sweat gland was added to optimize heat dissipation.

This appearance marks that Xiaomi's embodied intelligence technology is accelerating from high-precision industrial manufacturing to complex daily service scenarios, and the industrialization of industrial and consumer-grade robots is expected to accelerate further.
