On April 27, Baidu Wenku and Baidu Netdisk jointly launched the general AI agent GenFlow 4.0, marking a new stage in office automation. The core highlight of this update is the deep restructuring of the Office Agent, which comprehensively covers three core office software: PPT, Excel, and Word.

In terms of PPT creation, the new system introduced "Professional" and "Creative" modes. The Professional mode uses HTML generation technology, focusing on logical clarity and standardized layout, especially suitable for academic papers or business presentations; while the Creative mode emphasizes visual impact, generating colorful and diverse slides to meet promotional needs. In addition, the newly added "PPT Beautification" feature supports one-click optimization of old drafts, enhancing visual expression while retaining the original meaning.

For data processing, the Excel Agent achieved deep parsing driven by natural language. Users no longer need to memorize complex function formulas; they can complete the extraction, merging, and visualization analysis of table data from PDFs or images through conversation. The Word Agent, relying on a vast industry database, enhanced the ability to write professional reports, automatically capturing data and generating ten-thousand-word research reports, covering the entire process including polishing and proofreading.

Compatibility with OpenClaw: Baidu Netdisk Builds the "Cattle-Horse-Shrimp" Digital Employee System

Aside from improving personal office efficiency, Baidu Netdisk also publicly revealed the latest progress after integrating OpenClaw, officially launching the "Cattle-Horse-Shrimp" AI system. This system allows individuals and teams to deploy agents with one click on the PC or app of Baidu Netdisk. Due to the adoption of a cloud-based independent deployment model, it does not occupy local memory, and even when the device is turned off, the agents can remain online for 24 hours to perform tasks.

"Personal Shrimp" focuses on low-barrier efficiency tools, featuring high-quality skills such as creative writing and file organization, supporting one-click migration of agent configurations from other platforms. "Team Shrimp," on the other hand, is more inclined to act as a "digital employee," capable of handling tedious processes such as photo editing, video material distribution, and financial invoice review.

Notably, this system introduced the "Team Memory" feature. Team members' experience and historical assets can be stored in the digital employee's memory library, achieving knowledge accumulation at the organizational level. In terms of security, the system ensures that data sovereignty always belongs to the team through technologies such as synchronized disk directory isolation.

From Super Individuals to Super Organizations: AI Reconstructing Future Workflows

Currently, the monthly active users of AI on Baidu Wenku and Baidu Netdisk have reached 97 million and 80 million, respectively. The iteration of GenFlow 4.0 not only shortens traditional office processes from days to minutes but also restructures collaboration methods.

According to disclosures, Baidu Netdisk plans to launch the team version of "Agent Collaboration Army" by the end of May. At that time, multiple intelligent agents will be able to work collaboratively in parallel. These actions indicate that professionals will be liberated from repetitive "relay race" tasks, shifting towards higher-level decision-making and creative fields, driving individuals toward becoming "super individuals" and teams toward becoming "super organizations."
