For home cooks tired of meal prep and dishwashing, Nosh Robotics' Nosh One robotic chef may be the ultimate solution. This $1,499 smart appliance claims to achieve complete automation "from ingredients to the table," preparing a dinner without any human intervention.

The product is now available for pre-order on Kickstarter and is scheduled to start shipping to early users this summer.

Core functions and operation process of Nosh One:

  • Full automatic cooking logic: Users just need to place the chopped ingredients into the designated trays and select a recipe. The machine will automatically add ingredients at precise times, stir, and use the built-in AI camera to monitor the cooking progress in real time.

  • Vast cloud-based recipe library: The system comes with over 500 dishes. In addition, users can simply describe the dish they want to eat in natural language, and the integrated AI will generate the corresponding cooking logic and recipe.

  • Remote smart control: Through the accompanying app, users can schedule meal times, edit recipes, and receive instant notifications when the dish is ready.

  • Subscription service model: The company launched the Culinary+ subscription service, allowing users to unlock the entire recipe library and gain the right to customize 50 private recipes per year.

Although Nosh One has performed impressively, the market competition remains fierce. Industry experts point out that it faces direct competition from products like Posha, which are highly similar to Nosh One in price, industrial design, and AI cooking functions.
