Yesterday, Tencent officially launched the all-scenario AI intelligent agent WorkBuddy, marking a new stage in the competition of large model application layers with high integration and low threshold deployment.
The product immediately attracted significant attention from the industry on its launch day. Due to user traffic far exceeding expectations, the associated tool Tencent Cloud Code Assistant (CodeBuddy) experienced login issues and service instability. The Tencent Cloud team later issued an apology letter stating that the technical team had urgently scaled up by 10 times, and the service has now been fully restored. They also provided 5000 Credits as compensation to affected users.

WorkBuddy is regarded by the industry as Tencent's version of "Xiaolongxia." Its core capabilities are highly compatible with the popular open-source project OpenClaw, supporting all its Skills ecosystem. To address the previous pain points of high deployment barriers for OpenClaw in the cloud and even the emergence of "installation service" costing hundreds of yuan, WorkBuddy offers an extremely simple configuration experience, allowing users to complete the entire process from download to connecting with Enterprise WeChat in as little as one minute.
