As AI large models surge into mobile phones, cars, and office scenarios, Changhong is quietly embedding artificial intelligence into the living room - its self-developed "Changhong Yunfan" AI large model has recently attracted intensive research from multiple institutions such as Tianfeng Securities and China Galaxy Fund, and has been officially confirmed as the first vertical model in China's home appliance industry to pass the national large model filing. The model has been first applied to Changhong TV product lines, driving traditional smart TVs to a true "AI TV" transformation.
Differing from general large models, "Yunfan" focuses on the smart home appliance vertical scenario, deeply optimizing voice interaction, content understanding, and task execution capabilities. Users no longer need to issue mechanical fixed commands such as "play a certain movie", but can naturally express complex needs, such as "find a Chinese animated film suitable for the whole family, with a rating higher than 8 points, and lower the volume a bit." The system can then complete multi-step reasoning: identify the family watching scenario, filter the content library, call rating data, execute volume adjustment, and display the results on the screen. This end-to-end complex task orchestration capability significantly improves the smoothness and practicality of human-computer interaction.
In terms of audio-visual retrieval, "Yunfan" supports cross-modal search based on semantics, emotions, and even visual styles. For example, when users say "I want to watch a romantic scene of running on the seashore at sunset," the AI can accurately locate the segment by combining visual features and plot tags, breaking through the limitations of traditional keyword-based search. At the same time, the model can also dynamically generate personalized recommendation streams based on family members' preferences, achieving intelligent services with "one interface per person."
As a national registered model, "Yunfan" also has a first-mover advantage in data security and compliance, clearing obstacles for its deployment in high-sensitivity scenarios like homes. Changhong stated that in the future, the model will gradually expand to full-house smart home appliances such as air conditioners and refrigerators, building an AI TV-centered smart home hub.
