NVIDIA plans to acquire Israeli AI startup AI21 Labs for approximately $3 billion, aiming to recruit its top team of around 200 technical experts. AI21 Labs was founded in 2017 and has rare expertise in the field of artificial intelligence, attracting significant venture capital investments.
Global spending on generative AI is expected to reach $70 billion by 2030, driven mainly by AI hardware upgrades and the popularity of application software. Personal devices such as smartphones are currently the main areas of market spending.
