The ultimate efficiency tool for editors is here. Blackmagic Design officially released the video editing software DaVinci Resolve 21.1 on September 8th. This update brings a breakthrough in intelligent upgrades, fully integrating a group of top AI assistants such as Claude, Claude Code, and ChatGPT Codex.

In terms of core features, users can now interact with AI using everyday language, allowing it to handle previously tedious routine tasks. Whether analyzing projects in a large media library, intelligently organizing media files, adjusting software settings, or performing batch video rendering, AI can easily manage these tasks. Moreover, editors just need to give instructions to the AI assistant, which can precisely edit highlight clips from long videos, automatically remove redundant footage, and even directly assist in rendering the final video. Photographers and editors can directly import raw format photos from these cameras for processing after daily shooting, eliminating the cumbersome format conversion process and achieving efficient output with seamless integration.

In addition, DaVinci Resolve 21.1 further optimizes and upgrades the multi-camera workflow based on actual post-production pain points, greatly improving the smoothness of multi-angle switching and synchronization.
