Google has officially launched conversational AI voice features, powered by Gemini, in Gmail, Docs, and Keep, named Gmail Live, Docs Live, and Keep Live respectively.

Users can now ask their AI assistant about inbox content, generate draft documents, or automatically organize recipes and lists through natural language queries and voice input without manually typing. While experiencing these upgrades, the system also provides real-time text recording and supports accessing information from multiple sources such as Gmail, Google Drive, and websites to assist in content creation.

This marks an important implementation of the voice ecosystem previewed at Google I/O in May. Currently, Gmail Live is available for Google Plus, Pro, and Ultra users, while Docs Live and Keep Live are available for Pro and Ultra users, supporting English versions on iOS and Android platforms. It will later expand to Workplace enterprise users.

This upgrade continues Google's intensive efforts in the field of voice interaction. In April this year, Google introduced cross-app voice input for Mac applications; in August, it released the Gemini 3.5 Transcribe model to enhance voice-to-text capabilities; and it also launched the Rambler voice tool on Pixel 11 phones that removes filler words from speech.

As conversational voice becomes deeply integrated into core applications, Google is accelerating the transition of AI interaction from single-command input to full-scene natural conversation, further raising the intelligence level of productivity tools.
