After 27 years in the technology industry, the legendary figure in the AI field, Jeff Dean, has officially announced his departure from Google. In his internal farewell letter, he reflected on this amazing journey, witnessing the company grow from an initial team of 25 people into a large enterprise with over 190,000 employees, and developing as many as 13 products with user bases exceeding one billion.

After leaving Google, Jeff Dean did not stop. He will join several old friends and senior colleagues, Sanjay Ghemawat, Oriol Vinyals, and Quoc Le, to embark on a new entrepreneurial journey, co-founding a new company called DiscoLoop AI.
As one of the key figures in the history of artificial intelligence, Jeff Dean's recent departure and collective entrepreneurship have attracted widespread attention in the industry. It is generally believed that this also reflects a new trend in which top AI research talents are gradually shifting from traditional tech giants to independent innovation teams.
