Recently, Tencent's AI assistant "Yuanbao" announced that its image understanding function has been fully upgraded, officially launching a new service scenario called "Stay Calm, Take a Photo First." This upgrade focuses on optimizing text recognition accuracy, detail perception ability, and cross-domain interpretation logic, supporting "image-based Q&A" for multiple daily scenarios such as medical health, life maintenance, contract review, social communication, and content creation, providing users with timely and reliable decision-making references.

According to the official introduction, the upgraded Yuanbao can now accurately recognize professional documents such as medical reports and drug instructions, quickly interpret the meaning of abnormal indicators, and sort out medication contraindications, helping users establish a basic understanding before seeing a doctor; for frequently used documents such as rental contracts and labor contracts, the system can automatically extract key clauses and indicate potential risks, reducing the likelihood of ordinary users being scammed. In daily scenarios, users can take photos of faulty home appliances to get initial troubleshooting guidance, and upload chat screenshots to generate high-empathy response scripts, solving social awkwardness.

In addition, this feature also supports matching personalized copy for casually taken landscape and portrait photos, meeting content creation needs.

Currently, users can download the Yuanbao APP or add a Yuanbao account on WeChat to experience the related services. The official stated that in the future, they will continue to expand the vertical scenarios of image understanding, further reduce the usage barriers of AI tools, and make technology truly serve the "small troubles" of daily life.
