BYD's humanoid robot project has reached a clear落地 timeline. On July 28, BYD confirmed to the media that its humanoid robot product will be officially unveiled in August, and it is expected to explore applications in scenarios such as commercial services.

Previously, the "Di Space | Zhengzhou Store" under BYD released a preheating video poster for the humanoid robot, with the caption "In early August, there is a new friend who wants to meet you," which attracted market attention. This unveiling will take place at BYD's first "Di Space" experience center - the Zhengzhou Store. This space is positioned as a brand technology showcase and user experience terminal, different from traditional 4S stores, mainly responsible for product display, technology interaction, and the launch of new businesses.

Public information shows that "Di Space | Zhengzhou Store" has four floors, with a total construction area of about 15,000 square meters, and it is an important scenario for BYD to explore future technology display models. Industry experts expect that BYD's humanoid robot may be prioritized for application in commercial service links such as exhibition hall reception, product explanation, and user interaction, and gradually expand to fields such as industrial manufacturing and intelligent logistics.

After the announcement, BYD's A-share stock rose more than 2% during the trading session. At the same time, the concept sector of humanoid robots also strengthened, with Mingxin Xuteng achieving two consecutive涨停, Shangwei Xincai rising more than 9%, and related companies such as Beizhi Technology, Sanhua Zhikong, Tossda, Lixing Shares, and Tianqi Shares also saw gains.

In recent years, with the rapid development of artificial intelligence, large models, and robot technology, automotive companies are accelerating into the embodied intelligence track. BYD's release of a humanoid robot product indicates that traditional manufacturing enterprises are extending from smart cars to a broader smart terminal and robot ecosystem.

As the cost of robot hardware decreases, AI capabilities improve, and application scenarios gradually open up, the commercialization of humanoid robots is entering an accelerated phase, with high-frequency scenarios such as offline services and industrial production may become the first breakthrough directions for the industry.
