Midjourney has officially launched its V8.2 image model. This update focuses on two main aspects— aesthetics and image quality, as well as personalization.

In the official update announcement, the changes are broken down into several points. The images produced by the new model should be more creative, bolder, more refined, and have more sharpness and freshness, no longer being flat and unremarkable. The random situations that previously resulted in low-quality images have been significantly reduced. The personalization module will "understand" your personal aesthetic better—especially when you have a large number of rating records under your account, its ability to understand your preferences will improve significantly. When creating a personalized profile for V8.2, the available image pool has also been made larger and better.
