At the latest Samsung Unpacked event, Samsung showcased its new Galaxy devices, including foldable phones, smartwatches, and upcoming smart glasses. This launch was not just an update to hardware but also a major software revolution, with Samsung deeply collaborating with Google's Gemini AI, integrating its intelligent features natively into the new devices.

Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip 8 has been redesigned, allowing users to easily summon the Gemini intelligent assistant by long-pressing the power button. This technology aims to help users complete daily digital tasks more efficiently, such as buying concert tickets, making reservations, or planning travel experiences. Although Google stated that Gemini AI will be compatible with over 40 apps, specific supported apps and timelines are still unclear. Additionally, users can still control the process when using Gemini, viewing progress, pausing tasks, or confirming whether the AI's execution meets expectations.

Samsung and Google jointly launched the Gemini Notebook, which will be pre-installed on the new Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8, and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. Thanks to these devices' large screens, users can more conveniently drag and drop links, photos, and documents, improving mobile work efficiency. This feature not only simplifies the user's workflow but also makes multitasking much easier.

Samsung also revealed information about its upcoming smart glasses. Developed in collaboration with Google and Qualcomm, these glasses will not have traditional displays but will provide a smart experience through cameras, speakers, and microphones. Google stated in its blog that the glasses will fully support Gemini AI and seamlessly collaborate with compatible Galaxy watches. This innovation is undoubtedly set to offer users a brand-new smart wearable experience.
