On July 19, Alibaba officially launched the Token Plan Personal Edition and simultaneously opened the Qwen3.8-Max-Preview experience. This model has a parameter scale of 2.4 trillion and demonstrates strong capabilities in scenarios such as code engineering and professional office work. The official version is expected to be released and open-sourced shortly.

According to the information, Qwen3.8-Max-Preview can currently be experienced through the Token Plan. To lower the user's entry barrier, Alibaba has launched a limited-time discount plan, with the Personal Edition Lite package priced at 39 yuan/month, Standard package at 139 yuan/month, and Pro package at 499 yuan/month; the Team Edition offers three types of positions: Standard, Advanced, and Premium, priced at 150 yuan, 550 yuan, and 1398 yuan per position per month, respectively.

For Qwen3.8-Max-Preview, Alibaba also launched a limited-time trial activity, with daytime Credits consumption reduced to 10% of the original price. Personal Token Plan users can enjoy further discounts when using it at night.

In addition to the Token Plan, Alibaba's AI programming products Qoder and QoderWork have also been launched with support for Qwen3.8-Max-Preview. Qwen PC users can freely experience the model's capabilities.

As the competition in large models shifts from purely performance-based comparisons to a comprehensive competition involving model capabilities, cost control, and ecosystem building, Alibaba is further expanding the application range of the Qwen series models through the Token Plan, development tools, and open-source strategies, accelerating the adoption of large models in productivity scenarios such as development and office work.
