In the battlefield of AI creation tools, Meta has been very active recently. Following the launch of its AI drawing app and video editing tool, this tech giant has quietly launched a new creative game application called Pocket.

The logic behind this new product is quite innovative: it allows users to instantly generate small, interactive "Gizmo" apps and games through simple AI prompts. In short, Pocket acts as a creative generator; users just need to input a textual description, and the AI will turn it into an interactive mini-game. Additionally, Pocket includes an information feed that enables users to explore and experience others' created game works, closing the loop between "playing" and "creating."

The technical foundation of this application comes from Meta's acquisition of the Gizmo team earlier this year. From the currently disclosed interface, Pocket retains the core essence of Gizmo, namely the AI-driven "prompt-to-creation" model. According to data from third-party application intelligence analysis agencies, Pocket was launched on App Store and Google Play platforms on June 29, 2026, officially starting its trial period in the public eye.

Although Meta has not publicly promoted the release of Pocket, its intentions in the gaming industry are evident. It is not only an important complement to Meta's current AI capabilities matrix, including Meta AI image generation, video generation tools, and video editing applications, but also marks Meta's attempt to expand the boundaries of AI creation from simple media content to complex interactive digital entertainment fields.

Industry experts believe that Pocket is still in its early experimental and exploratory phase. As a reference, its predecessor Gizmo previously accumulated 635,000 downloads and received excellent user feedback. In the context of AI-powered content creation, whether the emergence of Pocket will trigger a wave similar to "mass game creation" is worth watching closely.
