To make users' daily conversations more natural and efficient, the AI giant OpenAI has recently made targeted upgrades to the mobile and web versions of ChatGPT. In this update, the mobile app introduced a practical hidden interaction gesture, giving users control over the model's computational power.

Flexible Control Over Intelligence Level

In the newly upgraded mobile app, after entering a prompt, users can long-press the send arrow to bring up a new intelligence level selector. This feature provides different response settings, allowing users to freely choose the model's reasoning power before sending based on the task difficulty.

The system currently offers options such as quick response, deep thinking, and extended reasoning. For simple daily questions, the quick response mode can provide instant results; while for complex programming, data analysis, or solution design, higher-level reasoning modes can offer more accurate assistance.

Web Version Experience Optimized Synchronously

In addition to the mobile updates, the web version of ChatGPT has also launched a long conversation directory feature. When a single conversation has five or more back-and-forth replies, the page's side will automatically expand a set of directory lines, helping users quickly navigate through long chats with multiple tasks.

At the same time, as the latest version of the default model used for most daily conversations, its answer style and quality have also been further optimized. The official stated that the new model will significantly reduce long or overly dependent on bullet points mechanical answers, aiming to make AI's language rhythm closer to human daily expressions.
