SpaceX, the American aerospace company, has recently launched a large-scale recruitment campaign for its artificial intelligence (AI) department. The company's founder, Elon Musk, announced that he will personally review the shortlisted resumes, selecting top talents with practical standards to accelerate the integration of aerospace technology and AI.
This recruitment is open to professionals such as engineers and physicists, and does not require applicants to have experience in the AI industry. Musk stated that candidates just need to submit three core items in their emails to prove their exceptional abilities.
The focus of the assessment will be entirely on practical achievements in solving complex technical problems, driving the implementation of complex systems, and creating real value. This "pragmatic, not resume-oriented" talent selection philosophy is consistent with Musk's approach when recruiting talent for Tesla's AI chip team.
Currently, the competition for AI talent in the global technology industry continues to intensify, with top technical talents becoming the core resources for companies to build their presence in cutting-edge fields. Previously, Andrej Karpathy, former AI director at Tesla and one of the early core members of OpenAI, joined Anthropic, further highlighting the intense competition in this field.
At the same time, SpaceX is also accelerating its financial market strategy. The company has officially submitted its S-1 IPO application documents and is expected to launch its IPO in June, aiming to raise between $75 billion and $85 billion, with an estimated valuation ranging from $1.5 trillion to $2 trillion.
