On the 50th International Museum Day, the AI application Douyin, under ByteDance, officially launched a museum tour mode, aiming to reshape the public's cultural and museum experience through generative AI technology. Currently, this mode has officially partnered with more than 20 leading domestic cultural and museum institutions, including the National Museum of China, Pudong Art Museum, Gansu Provincial Museum, Hebei Museum, Capital Museum, and China Art Museum.

In addition to cloud-based knowledge retrieval, Douyin has deeply integrated into offline exhibition scenarios, reaching further cooperation with five top venues, including the Gansu Provincial Museum, Hebei Museum, Capital Museum, China Art Museum, and Pudong Art Museum, directly serving as the official "AI tour guide" in their major exhibitions.

This move indicates that large model applications are evolving from general online conversations to high-fidelity offline services with spatial perception and professional expertise in specific fields. The cultural and tourism industry, as a carrier of massive historical text and image knowledge, is naturally a core testing ground for AI multimodal capabilities.

Douyin's strategic expansion not only demonstrates its alignment capability in professional knowledge areas but also signals that "AI + culture and tourism" is moving towards institutionalized and official deep integration. Through more frequent intelligent information output, it further lowers the knowledge barriers for the public to access cultural achievements.
