On April 29, Anthropic officially launched a new plan called "Claude for Creative Work", aiming to transform Claude from a general conversation assistant into a "collaborator" for creators by deeply integrating professional creative software. The core released this time is a "connector" network jointly developed by Anthropic with leading platforms such as Adobe, Autodesk, Ableton, Blender, and Splice, achieving native integration of AI models with existing creative workflows.

Technically, Claude accesses data from third-party platforms through connectors, offering context-aware assistance. In Adobe Creative Cloud, Claude helps with cross-media material editing; in Ableton and Blender, it serves as a natural language interface, handling tasks such as functional instruction, script writing, and scene management.

In addition, Claude can convert text into 3D models in SketchUp or search for royalty-free sound effects within Splice. This design philosophy emphasizes that AI is the "glue" of the workflow, significantly reducing the cost of process-related tasks for creators through automation of batch processing and project setup, while also supporting rapid ideation through integration with the "Claude Design" capability.

Strategically, Anthropic has joined the Blender Development Fund as a sponsor and partnered with educational institutions such as RISD to promote the "Creative Computing" project. These initiatives reflect an industry shift from "isolated generative AI" to "embedded workflow AI." By embedding intelligent capabilities into established professional ecosystems, Anthropic aims to demonstrate that the value of AI in creative fields lies in enhancing human taste rather than disrupting the essence of creation, signaling a period of transformation in professional productivity tools centered around collaboration.
