Recently, the tech media Windows Latest reported that Microsoft is making significant upgrades to the Clock app in Windows 11, which is expected to bring a more powerful "Focus" feature and introduce task management and AI intelligent suggestions. The new Clock app interface uses rounded corners, with the task panel taking up half the screen, allowing users to easily sort by title or date, and seamlessly integrating with the Microsoft To Do app.

In the upcoming Focus mode, users can run the app in minimized mode while working. Additionally, users can set their focus and break durations according to personal needs, and enable the "Focus Score" and "Auto Pause" features. The latter automatically pauses the timer when it detects that the user's attention is drifting, but specific operations have not been disclosed yet.

The newly added "Reflection" feature is also a highlight. After exiting Focus mode, users will be asked about their current state, with options including Deep Focus, Focus, Stable, Distracted, and Distracted. This will help users identify attention fluctuations and understand their work status.

The introduction of AI capabilities is a major feature of this update. Users can receive AI intelligent suggestions for task management, which may rely on the PC's neural processing unit. The size of the task panel has also been optimized, taking up more display space, allowing users to sort tasks by creation date, due date, and other ways.

Although the memory usage of the test version of the Windows 11 Clock app is nearly twice that of the previous version, the features are still being improved, and the Insights page is still under development. Overall, this upgrade will provide users with a more efficient work experience.
