TikTok Life Services recently released the "TikTok Life Services AIGC Creation Guidelines," which clarify the basic principles and specific regulations that creators should follow during the process of creating content using artificial intelligence-generated content (AIGC) or deep synthesis technology. According to the new rules, creators must ensure consumers' right to be informed and proactively disclose that the content contains generated or synthesized elements when publishing AI-generated synthetic content.

Additionally, creators must obtain legal, clear, and traceable authorization when using others' images, voices, and works. It is prohibited to use unauthorized materials or to use others' scripts for training and generating content in AIGC creation. This means that creators are responsible for the content they use, in order to protect others' personality rights and intellectual property rights.

The new regulations also emphasize that creators must ensure the authenticity and accuracy of product and service information, and must not create false or misleading content for consumers. The product information promoted must be consistent with the actual product details and offline fulfillment. In particular, it is strictly prohibited to fabricate core information such as products, stores, or services through AIGC in marketing, or to exaggerate the weight, specifications, effects, or promise services that cannot be fulfilled.
