Tencent Cloud has announced that it will officially increase the prices of multiple core AI business services starting May 9, 2026, marking the structural price adjustment of computing resources by another leading cloud service provider in China, following Alibaba Cloud and Baidu Cloud.

According to the notice, this price adjustment covers AI computing-related products and services, TKE-native node container services, and related products of Elastic MapReduce (EMR), with a uniform increase of 5%. For users who have already purchased the relevant services before the effective date, the current order or billing cycle prices will not be affected. The new pricing standards will take effect from the next renewal cycle.

Tencent Cloud stated that this move is due to the continuous surge in global AI computing demand and the significant increase in core hardware supply chain costs. The price adjustment aims to ensure service quality and the sustained supply of computing resources.
