Tencent Cloud has officially released version 0.1.9 of QClaw. As the first "Lobster" AI Agent deeply adapted to the WeChat ecosystem, this update has upgraded the original WeChat customer service account entry into a mini program, significantly lowering the barrier for ordinary users to use AI to perform complex computer tasks.

WeChat Entry Upgrade: Smoother Cross-Device Interaction

The new version has moved the core interaction of QClaw to the WeChat mini program, achieving seamless integration between mobile phones and computers:

  • File Transfer: Users can directly receive or upload files from the computer through the mini program on their mobile devices.

  • Native Multimodal Support: It will soon support voice and image interactions native to WeChat, enabling the experience of "send a message, and the computer starts working."

  • Remote Management: In the future, it will support quickly creating scheduled tasks, real-time monitoring of task progress, and remotely switching underlying models within the mini program.

Inspiration Square Launch: Eliminate "Command Anxiety"

To address the pain point of new users not knowing how to give commands to an Agent, the new version introduces the "Inspiration Square":

  • Preset Scenarios: Covering multiple dimensions such as office efficiency, in-depth research, entertainment games, and self-disciplined life.

  • One-Click Run: Users don't need to write any code or commands; they can automatically load the corresponding Skills (skills) and start the task by clicking "Start Using Now."

Simplicity: A "Cyber Lobster" Everyone Can Raise

QClaw is minimally packaged based on the OpenClaw framework, emphasizing "no environment configuration, no command line, no model debugging." The Tencent team stated that the product's goal is to be simple enough for the older generation to use easily. By deeply embedding the entry in WeChat, users can deploy their first AI assistant that helps them handle daily information, just like helping parents install WeChat.
