Artificial intelligence startup Anthropic has taken a key step into the enterprise market by officially launching an enterprise-level toolkit called "Cowork & Plugins for the Enterprise." This move marks Anthropic's direct entry into the core territory of Microsoft and OpenAI, aiming to redefine the digital work experience.

For a long time, enterprise employees using AI to assist with work often had to frequently switch between dialogue windows and office software through "copy and paste." The new tool introduced by Anthropic has completely broken down this barrier. Now, users can directly call Claude within common software such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Slack. This means that AI is no longer just a separate sidebar window but is directly integrated into actual business processes and maintains contextual consistency across different programs.

According to AIbase, Anthropic does not intend to build a closed ecosystem. The newly released plugin system is open source and portable, allowing enterprises to customize their own AI assistants according to the needs of different positions such as financial analysis, human resources, or design, without worrying about being locked in by a single vendor. At the same time, with the new connectors, Claude can securely access real-time corporate data from platforms such as Google Drive, Gmail, and DocuSign.

Currently, industry giants such as Deloitte and L'Oréal have already joined the system to automate internal processes. In its official announcement, Anthropic boldly stated that if 2025 saw Claude Code change the way programming was done, then in 2026, this transformation will cover all knowledge work areas.
