On January 26, Alibaba officially launched its flagship reasoning model Qwen3-Max-Thinking. The AI assistant Qwen has also been integrated with this the strongest "AI brain" in China on PC and web versions (qianwen.com), with the Qwen App set to be integrated soon. Users can simply switch models with one click in the model selection bar to experience stronger reasoning capabilities.

Qwen3-Max-Thinking is currently Alibaba's largest and most powerful reasoning model, with a total parameter count exceeding one trillion (1T) and a pre-training data volume of up to 36T Tokens. After large-scale reinforcement learning training, this model has achieved outstanding performance in 19 widely recognized benchmark tests for large models, including factual knowledge, complex reasoning, instruction following, and human preference alignment, setting multiple new records. Its overall performance is comparable to GPT-5.2-Thinking-xhigh, Claude Opus4.5, and Gemini3Pro.
After switching to this model, Qwen becomes more proactive, intelligent, and capable of deep logical reasoning and self-validation:
Stronger factual memory and world knowledge: Whether it's obscure science, historical anecdotes, or cultural questions, it can provide more accurate and authoritative answers, significantly improving context coherence, better remembering user preferences, and greatly reducing "memory loss" phenomena;
Expert-level complex reasoning ability: It performs exceptionally well in high-difficulty scientific, mathematical, and logical problems, offering multi-dimensional analysis and structured reasoning for researchers and professionals, assisting in decision-making;
Self-iterative reasoning mechanism: When facing complex problems, it first outlines ideas, verifies assumptions, optimizes paths, and then outputs conclusions, significantly improving reasoning quality and response speed;
More aligned with human values: It follows instructions more accurately, produces safer and more reliable content, and adheres to ethical standards and social consensus.
