Global browser innovation leader Opera has officially launched its new artificial intelligence feature, Opera AI, and it is now available to users of its flagship desktop browser Opera One, gaming browser Opera GX, and the mindfulness-focused Opera Air. As the successor to Aria, Opera AI represents a significant leap in speed and intelligence, marking an important milestone in Opera's "browser as AI interface" strategy.

The launch of Opera AI provides users with an improved interface, allowing them to easily find the new entry point for Opera AI in the top right corner of the browser. The new AI interface is presented as a sidebar, making it convenient for users to interact with it at any time, ensuring a seamless browsing and collaboration experience. Additionally, Opera AI uses the intelligent agent engine architecture from Opera Neon, with a 20% faster response time, enabling Opera AI to assist users more efficiently, whether it's for complex research or instant page summaries.
This new feature also has deep context awareness capabilities, allowing it to understand the current website or tab being used by the user, thus providing more relevant answers. Opera AI's multimodal interaction capabilities have also been enhanced, supporting voice input and multi-format file analysis. Users can interact with the AI through voice and perform contextual analysis on YouTube videos to get video summaries.

To further enhance the user experience, Opera AI also offers comprehensive file analysis functionality, allowing users to upload various types of files such as spreadsheets, videos, audio, and documents. The AI can analyze these files and answer related questions. In addition, Opera AI introduces a quick screenshot sharing feature, allowing users to easily capture prompts and answers and quickly share them with others.
