According to a report by AIbase, Professor Zhang Wenhong, the director of the National Center for Infectious Diseases (Shanghai), expressed a cautious stance on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in the medical field during a forum celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Gao Shan College in Hong Kong on January 10. He clearly opposed the systematic introduction of AI systems into the daily diagnostic processes of hospitals. Professor Zhang revealed that although he uses AI to review cases in advance, he personally verifies the results based on his deep professional experience and quickly identifies any errors or biases in AI.
