An AI services startup from Coimbatore, India, Aivar, has recently successfully completed a $4.6 million seed funding round led by Sorin Investments, with Bessemer Venture Partners also participating in the funding. Aivar plans to use this funding to further expand its operations in India, the United States, and the Middle East, while continuing to invest in AI accelerators, top talent, and international delivery capabilities.

Aivar's automation accelerator Velogent has successfully optimized the contract processing system of a logistics SaaS provider. By using agent-based AI, Velogent is able to simplify complex and document-heavy workflows. The logistics company needed reliable three-way invoice matching, involving verification of contracts, payment orders, and invoices.

In addition, Aivar has developed an automated contract entry solution that can perform agent-based analysis and document reconciliation, automatically creating records in supply chain systems.

Aivar's co-founder and CEO Kousik Rajendran said: "Within less than a year, we have validated that enterprises need more than just AI tools; they need partners capable of executing transformation comprehensively. Our approach combining studios and accelerators, integrating the best of services and software, delivers results in weeks that traditional methods would take months to achieve."

Aivar was founded in 2024 by former AWS colleagues Kousik Rajendran, Praveen Jayakumar, Ashwin Ram Ravichandran, and Aadharsh Ayappan. The company focuses on technology services, offering fast and efficient AI solutions for startups, tech-driven companies, and large enterprises. It has been validated by AWS and supported by early productization accelerators covering voice, data, and various AI/ML tasks.
