At today's global product launch event, Xpeng Motors Chairman He Xiaopeng introduced to the public two key focuses of the company for 2026 —— Physical AI and globalization. This launch marks an important transformation for Xpeng Motors between technological exploration and practical application, indicating that the implementation and mass production of Physical AI are about to arrive.

He Xiaopeng stated that 2026 will be a breakthrough year for Xpeng Motors, with a series of innovative technologies planned, including the second-generation VLA (Vehicle Language Architecture), which will be the first large model in the industry to achieve L4-level capabilities in the physical world. Specifically, the second-generation VLA will be applied to new models starting in the first quarter of 2026.

At this event, Xpeng also revealed its specific future plans, including the launch of Robotaxi operations, the mass production of humanoid robots, and the gradual introduction of flying cars to the market. The four new models —— 2026 Xpeng P7+, Xpeng G7, 2026 Xpeng G6, and Xpeng G9 —— will all be equipped with the second-generation VLA, aiming to enhance driving experience and intelligent level.

In addition, He Xiaopeng mentioned that in the future, Xpeng Motors will not be limited to the domestic market, but will develop towards globalization, aiming to apply Physical AI technology to a broader international market and promote changes in global mobility.
