On January 8, the 2026 Xpeng Global New Product Launch Event was officially held. He Xiaopeng, Chairman and CEO of Xpeng Motors, delivered a keynote speech, clearly identifying "Physical AI" and "Globalization" as the core keywords for the company in 2026. He Xiaopeng announced that 2026 will be a milestone for Xpeng Motors, marking the transition from "technology exploration" to "practical application," and signaling the comprehensive implementation and large-scale production of Physical AI technology.
Regarding the product roadmap, He Xiaopeng revealed a series of groundbreaking delivery plans. As a representative of large models in the physical world, Xpeng's second-generation VLA (Vision-Language-Action) model will be mass-produced and deployed on the Ultra model in the first quarter of 2026. This model achieves end-to-end direct control from visual perception to action commands, and is considered the industry's first physical model with basic L4 capabilities. In addition, Xpeng plans to launch Robotaxi operations in 2026, and simultaneously achieve large-scale production and delivery of high-level humanoid robots and modular flying cars (land aircraft carriers).
At the event, Xpeng also introduced four new models, including the 2026 Xpeng P7+ and Xpeng G7, all equipped with the second-generation VLA large model. He Xiaopeng emphasized that future large models will become the "operating system of the Physical AI world," and Xpeng Motors is accelerating its strategic transformation from an electric vehicle company to a global embodied intelligence company through self-developed chips, cloud computing clusters, and closed-loop embodied intelligent products.
