This decision was officially announced on December 31st. The original free trial period, scheduled to end at the end of December 2025, will now be extended until 2:00 PM on January 20, 2026. This extension not only provides users with more time to experience the model but also demonstrates Xiaomi's confidence and determination in the field of large models.

MiMo-V2-Flash is a powerful model with 309 billion parameters, of which 15 billion are activated. Since its release, it has shown outstanding performance in areas such as reasoning, code processing, and intelligent application scenarios, and has been hailed as a leading open-source large model. During the free trial period, users can enjoy core functions such as efficient text generation and code processing without paying any fees.

Xiaomi's decision aims to further promote the application of MiMo and attract more developers and users to join the exploration of artificial intelligence. Although the beta testing period has been extended, Xiaomi has started to establish a payment system, which is expected to be launched before the end of the beta testing period and will undergo a one-week trial operation. To ensure smooth user experience, Xiaomi advises users to recharge in advance during this period to avoid any impact on their experience due to insufficient account balance.

Notably, the pricing strategy for MiMo API has also been released. For domestic users, the cost of input is 0.7 yuan per million tokens, and the output cost is 2.1 yuan per million tokens; while for overseas users, the input cost is 0.1 US dollars per million tokens, and the output cost is 0.3 US dollars per million tokens. This pricing strategy will enable more users to access and use this advanced artificial intelligence technology more easily.
