Trae, an AI programming tool under ByteDance, announced on November 4 that its platform's built-in model has been updated, but access to the Claude model will no longer be available. The announcement mentioned that due to service disruption, Trae will stop supporting Claude.

According to Trae's statement, Pro members will receive additional compensation starting today. Before January 31, 2026, Pro members will get an additional 50% of fast requests per month, meaning Pro members can enjoy 300 fast requests per month. This measure aims to alleviate the impact of the removal of Claude.

Claude Code is an AI programming assistant that runs in the terminal, capable of understanding and manipulating local code repositories and performing basic coding tasks. It can also explain complex code logic and handle Git workflow functions. Due to the removal of Claude, Trae will continue to focus on providing other valuable programming tools and services to its users.

Trae users can expect new features and improvements in future updates to maintain its competitiveness in the AI programming field.
