According to Caixin News, Seres has announced that its subsidiary Chongqing Fenghuang Technology Co., Ltd. signed a "Framework Agreement on Embodied Intelligence Business Cooperation" with ByteDance's intelligent technology company, Beijing Huoshan Yinge Technology Co., Ltd., on October 9, 2025. This move marks that the automobile manufacturer Seres and the internet AI giant ByteDance will engage in in-depth cooperation in the cutting-edge field of embodied intelligence.

According to the agreement, both parties will work together on the project "Intelligent Robot Decision-making, Control, and Human-Machine Enhancement Technologies for Multimodal Cloud-Edge Collaboration." The goal is to build a closed-loop mechanism of "technology research and development - scenario validation," and jointly create a technical foundation and collaboration framework.
This cooperation focuses on the digital and intelligent upgrading needs of the automotive industry ecosystem, aiming to create a new model that integrates "technology and scenarios" to fully empower the automotive industry.
In the cooperation, both sides will leverage their core strengths: Huoshan Yinge will utilize its technical advantages in language, vision, multimodal, and general artificial intelligence models to provide intelligent algorithms and computing power support for the project. Seres will leverage its industrial advantages to promote the industrial application of artificial intelligence technologies, ultimately realizing the vision of "AI + embodied intelligence with emotions, wisdom, safety, and reliability as mobile intelligent entities and life partners."
The company also emphasized that the signing of this framework agreement will not have a significant impact on Seres' financial status or operating results in 2025.
