According to a recent report from International Data Corporation (IDC), global PC shipments in the first quarter of 2025 saw a year-over-year increase of 4.9%, reaching a total of 63.2 million units.
This figure surpasses IDC's February forecast, indicating a strong rebound in market demand. Lenovo maintained its leading position globally with a 24.1% market share, a 1.3 percentage point year-over-year increase, and achieved the fastest growth among the top three vendors with a 10.8% growth rate.

IDC analysis points to sustained robust commercial demand for PCs in Q1. This is driven by several factors, including the upcoming end of support for Microsoft Windows 10 in October 2025 and the growing demand for edge AI.
Furthermore, as the first quarter was unaffected by new tariff policies, the entire PC ecosystem actively accelerated delivery speeds to meet market demand.
