Microsoft has announced two updates related to maps, targeting its Bing search and Bing chat services respectively. One update will assist you in reaching your destination, while the other will provide you with information on road conditions. Microsoft states that users will not only receive options for the best routes but also visual directions on Bing's map feature. Additionally, users can now access Bing Maps for real-time traffic reports, which include notifications about accidents, recommended routes, and an estimated time for departure. Microsoft is also testing support for Apple's Safari browser and third-party mobile versions of Chrome and Safari. During the press conference on September 21, Microsoft may unveil some new Surface hardware products.
